About Andrea Lucy | Food Photographer Ireland
Andrea Flanagan is a Food Photographer based in Dublin. Originally from Sligo, Andrea has completed a MA in Photography from the London Metropolitan University and a BA in Fine Art in NCAD. Andrea has worked with a number of well established restaurants and food producers.
Andrea’s aim is to photograph all things food related using a simple and direct approach resulting in high impact photographs which capture the natural beauty of the food involved. Working closely with clients Andrea will help each client realise their objectives in how they wish for their food to be portrayed. She makes the overall process effortless and more importantly fruitful
“Food, art and photography are the three great loves in my life. Being able to combine all three is a dream come true. Before each project I like to collaborate with the client about what they are looking for their photographs to portray. Once a clear picture of what we are aiming for is established, I start to prepare for the shoot.
This includes constructing mood boards, gathering props, working out perfect locations, preparing for interior shots and the list goes on. I leave no stone unturned so that on the day of the shoot we are going to make the most of every minute. The client and I both share a mutual passion for food and this whole process should be both efficient and fun!”
